Who We Are
Calvary Chapel Toledo is a Christian church modeled on the example of the first century church, (the church founded by Jesus and His apostles). We find the priorities of that church listed in the book of Acts.
Acts 2:42
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers".
We focus on these things because God's plan for His church has not changed. Calvary Chapel is known for teaching through the entire Bible. Our desire is to teach, understand and obey God's word. For more information on the Calvary Chapel movement, please read the book "Calvary Chapel Distinctives". We have it available in our book ministry.
Our Vision
The vision of Calvary Chapel Toledo is threefold and all of our ministries are extensions of that vision. It is as follows;
1. PROCLAIM the gospel of Jesus Christ.
2. DISCIPLE by teaching "the whole counsel of God".
3. EQUIP the saints to do the work of the ministry.
We look to the leading and empowering of the Holy Spirit to accomplish these and recognize that as we are faithful, God will grow His church. (Please see the statement of faith link.)
How Do I Fit In?
We simply ask you to pray and ask if the Lord is leading you here. If so, seek His will as to where you should be an active part of this church body. If He is not leading you here, please be obedient to attend the church He has called you to. All Christians are to be an active part of a local church body. If you have additional questions or prayer needs, please ask. We are here to serve!
